Supported Applications

The Omega PT Series Twist-Lock connectors are designed for connecting pressure transducers to multiconductor cable. These ruggedized assemblies provide secure electrical interfaces featuring integral solder contacts and strain-relief cable clamps.

Operating Conditions & Performance

Performance specifications vary by model configuration, with temperature ranges spanning from -55°C (-67°F) up to 125°C (257°F), 150°C (302°F), or 204°C (399°F). Environmentally protected models are rated for an air pressure of 30 psi (2 bar) at -55°C (-67°F). The series supports a voltage drop maximum of 55 mV on #20 contact and #20 wire at 7.5 A, with insulation resistance minimums of 5000 MΩ @ 25°C (77°F).

Connector durability is rated for 500 cycles of coupling and uncoupling.

  • Male Connectors (PT01F): Models such as PT01F8-4P and PT01F10-6P feature 4 or 6 male contacts with environmentally protected housings. Dimensional data includes a specific "E" measurement for the strain relief area.
  • Female Connectors (PT06F): Models such as PT06F8-4S and PT06F10-6S feature 4 or 6 female sockets. These are typically designated for indoor use unless specified otherwise, with dimensional data omitting the "E" measurement.
  • Specialized Variants: The PTS06A series provides extended temperature capability up to 150°C (302°F), while the PCS06E model supports operation up to 204°C (399°F) with silicone insulators instead of neoprene.
