Operating Conditions & Performance

The CNI-CB120SB operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 55°C (32 to 151°F). The unit is powered by a 120V supply and housed in a hinged metal enclosure. Dimensions are specified as 203 H x 152 W x 152 mm D (8 x 6 x 6") with a weight of 4.53 kg (10 lb).

Electrical output capabilities depend on the configuration:

  • If using both outputs simultaneously, the maximum rated current for each output is 6.0A; each output must be fused for 7Amps (720Watts).
  • If using only one output, the maximum rated current is 12.0A; the output must be fused for 15Amps (1440Watts).

When both outputs are used, the combined maximum output is limited to 15 A due to a 15 A maximum input constraint.

Voltage and Signal Outputs

Configuration Options

The series supports multiple sensor input types and communication options. The base model includes a Type K thermocouple input with an M-12 female connection for RTD or process signals.

  • Sensor Inputs: Configurable for Thermocouples (Type J, T, E, N, R, S) by changing the suffix in the model number; factory configured and calibrated for Type K unless otherwise specified. Also supports RTD, Voltage, or Current inputs.
  • Housing: Hinged metal enclosure with main power light and output indicator lights.
  • Communication Options: Optional Ethernet control with a built-in web server (indicated by the "-EI" suffix).
