Supported Applications

The Omega PA Series consists of stainless steel adaptors and bushings designed for pressure ports. These mechanical fittings are used to adapt or reduce National Pipe Taper (NPT) thread sizes within instrumentation systems.

• Adapting ¼-18 NPT F, ¼-18 NPT M, and ⅞-20 F pressure ports
• Reducing connections down to ⅛ NPT or adapting up to ½ NPT

Operating Conditions & Performance

All adaptors in the series are constructed from stainless steel. The product documentation does not specify electrical performance metrics, measurement ranges, accuracy classes, burst pressure ratings, or operating temperature limits for these mechanical fittings.

A compatibility matrix is provided to indicate availability between various thread types (e.g., ⅜-18 M, ¼-18 NPT M/F, ⅛-27 NPT M/F, ½-14 NPT M/F) and VCO connections. The matrix uses '+' for available configurations and '-' for unavailable ones.

Configuration Options

The series offers a range of thread-to-thread transitions, including male-to-male, female-to-female, and mixed gender connections. Model numbers follow the format PA-. The documented variants cover specific port sizes:

• Adaptors for ¼-18 NPT F Pressure Port: Models include PA-20 (⅜-18 M → ¼-18 NPT M), PA-23 (¼-18 NPT M → ¼-18 NPT F), and transitions to VCO.
• Adaptors for ¼-18 NPT M Pressure Port: Models include PA-33 (¼-18 NPT F → ¼-18 NPT F) and reductions to ⅛-27 or expansions to ½-14 threads.
• Adaptors for ⅞-20 F Pressure Port: Models such as PA-12 (⅞-20 M → ¼-18 NPT M), PA-13, and PA-17 provide connections to smaller NPT sizes or VCO.
• Additional Adaptors: Includes same-size couplings like PA-44 (⅛-27 NPT M → ⅛-27 NPT M) and gender changers such as PA-67 (½-14 NPT M → ½-14 NPT F).

Key Product Differences

Differences between models are defined by the input thread size, output thread size, and gender (M/F) of each end. For example:

• PA-12 converts ⅞-20 M to ¼-18 NPT M.
• PA-34 converts ¼-18 NPT F to ⅛-27 NPT M.
• PA-66 provides a direct connection for ½-14 NPT M to ½-14 NPT M.
