Supported Applications

The Omega RTD-810 Series consists of high-accuracy fluid immersion resistance temperature detector (RTD) sensors designed for monitoring temperature in fluid and pressurized applications. These probes feature a stainless steel probe stem and mounting fitting, configured with lead wire outputs to connect directly to instrumentation.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series utilizes 100 Ω Class "A" DIN sensing elements. The measurement range extends from -200 °C to 750 °C for the sensor element, with a maximum cable temperature of 232 °C. Accuracy is specified as ±0.15°C @ 0°C in accordance with IEC Class A standards.

Physical dimensions include a probe diameter of 3 mm (1/8 in) and a stem length of 114 mm (4 1/2 in). The process connection is provided via a 1/8 NPT thread. Electrical construction follows a 3-Wire configuration for connecting to most instruments.

Configuration Options

The RTD-810 Series offers configurable termination options and accessories to suit specific installation requirements:

  • Sensing Element: All models feature a 100 Ω Class "A" DIN element.
  • Cable Length & Insulation: Standard configuration includes a 1 m (40 in) long PFA insulated cable.
  • Connector Types: Available with MTP-U-M Male connector, OTP connector, or TA3F connector. Specific mating connectors include the MTP-U-F and OTP-U-F models.
  • Cable Clamps: Options include PCLM-MTP for MTP configurations and PCLM for other terminations.

The series supports additional accessories, including the PUK-2T DIN rail terminal block and the HH804U high accuracy Pt100 RTD thermometer. Female mating connectors are sold separately.

Key Product Differences

Variants within the RTD-810 Series differ primarily by their termination style, as indicated in the model number guide: RTD-810 - <Sensing Element> - <Connector Type>. Specific configurations include:

  • RTD-810: Equipped with an MTP Connector.
  • RTD-810-OTP: Features an OTP connector on the PFA cable.
  • RTD-810-TA3F: Includes a TA3F connector.
