Supported Applications

The Omega PX3005-DIFF is a rangeable differential pressure transmitter designed for process automation, hydraulic systems, compressors, pumps, and tank level applications. The series utilizes an encapsulated MEMS piezoresistive sensor coupled with advanced microprocessing to monitor pressures in environments requiring consistent measurement of fluids and gases compatible with 316 SS.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The PX3005-DIFF operates within a process temperature range of -40 to 120°C (-40 to 250°F) and an ambient operating temperature of -20 to 70°C (-4 to 160°F). Storage is supported from -40 to 85°C. The transmitter features a rugged 316 SS enclosure with an IP67 environmental rating, suitable for wash-down environments.

Performance specifications include an accuracy of ±0.075TD% SPAN (NLHR, 20°C ±5°C) for linear output; square root output accuracy is 1.5 times the linear output accuracy. Long-term stability is rated at ±0.2% URL/60 months. The sensor response time is 200 mS with selectable damping from 0 to 100 S.

Static pressure limits are defined by range: for ranges up to 400 Mbar, the limit is 400 Bar; specific over-range limits vary by model. The series supports a power supply of 10.5 to 55VDC with a load resistance calculated as <(U-10.5)/0.021 Ω.
