The Omega CX136 series consists of heavy-duty, solderless push-on style connectors with crimp contacts. These accessories are designed for use with various PX-series transducers to provide a secure electrical connection without the need for soldering.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The connector shells are constructed from flame-retardant thermoplastic, and the internal contacts feature gold plating over nickel plating. The series is rated for an ambient operating temperature of 105°C (215°F).

Configuration Options

The CX136 series offers multiple configurations defined by the number of contacts and specific sensor compatibility:

  • CX136-3: 5-contact connector compatible with PX141, PX142, PX143, PX162, PX163, and PX164 sensors.
  • CX136-4: 4-contact connector compatible with PX170, PX26, PX137, and PX138/PX139 sensors.
  • CX136-8: 8-contact connector compatible with the PX149 sensor.

Housing options include black or beige thermoplastic shells. The model number follows the format CX136-<NUMBER>, where the suffix indicates the specific contact configuration and transducer compatibility (e.g., CX136-4 for PX26).

Key Product Differences

Variants within the series are distinguished by their pin count and the specific Omega pressure or force transducers they interface with. The 5-contact model serves a broader range of legacy and modern PX-series sensors, while the 4- and 8-contact models address specific high-pin-count or compact sensor requirements.
