Supported Applications
The Omega RH520 Series is a paperless humidity and temperature chart recorder designed for monitoring critical environments. Documented applications include laboratory, clean room, freezer, and storage areas where simultaneous tracking of relative humidity and temperature is required.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series measures Relative Humidity from 10 to 95% RH and Temperature from -20 to 140°F (-28 to 60°C). Accuracy specifications are ±3% RH for humidity and ±1°C (±1.8°F) for temperature, as defined in the primary specification table. The device features a large dual graphical LCD providing numerical readouts alongside time-stamped graphs of both parameters.
Internal memory capacity supports up to 49,000 data points. Data transfer is facilitated via an RS232 serial port using included cables and adaptors for PC connection. The unit operates on a universal adaptor (100 to 240 Vac, 50/60 Hz) or batteries.
Configuration Options
The RH520 Series offers configurable power options and certification levels across its model lineup:
- Power Supply Options: Models are available with a universal adaptor (100 to 240 Vac, 50/60 Hz), or specific voltage configurations for 220 Vac and 240 Vac.
- Certification: Select models include an optional NIST certificate of calibration.
- Sensor Configuration: The series utilizes a detachable remote probe with a cable length up to 1 m (3.3'). A replaceable humidity/temperature probe is available as an accessory.
The recorder includes programmable audio-visual alarms for high and low setpoints. An optional external alarm module provides automatic relay switching capabilities, offered in AC or DC configurations with a 3 m (9.8') cable.
