Operating Conditions & Performance
The series is constructed from UV-stabilized Non-Metallic Fiberglass, enabling use in higher temperature or corrosive conditions while maintaining protection against environmental exposure. The enclosures meet the following standards:
- NEMA Types: 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13
- UL Types: 1, 2, 3, 4, 4x, 12 and 13
- CSA Types: 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13
- IEC Type: IP66
The series carries UL, CSA, and RoHS approvals and includes a 1 YEAR WARRANTY.
Configuration Options
The OM-AMJ series is available in two primary sizes with specific internal dimensions to accommodate electrical components. The model number format follows the pattern OM-AM<MODEL>, where variants include:
- Model Sizes and Overall Dimensions (H x W x D):
- OM-AM743: 171 mm (6.74 in) H x 100 mm (3.93 in) W x 99 mm (3.88 in) D
- OM-AM943: 228 mm (8.99 in) H x 100 mm (3.93 in) W x 99 mm (3.88 in) D
Mounting and Accessories:
- 'SF' models are designated as not including SS mounting feet.
- Optional Sub-Panels for Fiberglass Boxes are available, specifically Aluminum sub-panels OM-PA74 (for 6.75 x 4" boxes) and OM-PA94 (for 9 x 4" boxes).
Key Product Differences
The series distinguishes between models with and without mounting feet, indicated by the 'SF' suffix in the model number. For example, OM-AM743 includes SS mounting feet, whereas OM-AM743SF does not. Similarly, OM-AM943 includes feet while OM-AM943SF excludes them.
Internal dimensions vary by height to match the overall size:
