The Omega NEMA Type 4 Enviroline® Series Single Door Enclosures are designed to house electrical and electronic controls, instruments, and components. These enclosures provide protection from dust, oil, and water. For outdoor application, a drip shield is recommended.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series features an enclosure rating of NEMA Type 4, 12, & 13; UL Listed Type 4 & 12; CSA Type 4 & 12; IEC 60529 IP 66. The housing material is specified as 0.075" Carbon Steel.

Configuration Options

The series supports a wide range of dimensions and configurations, identified by the model number format SCE-<HEIGHT>EL<WIDTH>L<DEPTH>P (example: SCE-12EL1206LP). Available options include:

• Door Hardware

Latching configurations vary by enclosure height as documented in the series specifications:

• Enclosures < 609.6 (24.00") in height require only one latch centered on door.
• Enclosures >= 609.6 (24.00") and < 1016 (40.00") in height require two latches on door.
• Enclosures >= 1016 (40.00") require three latches on door.

A specific configuration note states to omit center latch top and bottom of door when door width is <= 762 (30.00"). The series carries a 1 YEAR WARRANTY.
