Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series BCHP is a manual calibration test pump designed to generate pressure and vacuum for adjusting or calibrating pressure gauges, transmitters, or switches. The hand-operated device functions in laboratories and production areas where pneumatic testing with air media is required.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The Series BCHP operates within a pneumatic output range of -28 in Hg to 870 psi (-0.95 bar to 60 bar). The pump utilizes anodized aluminum, brass, and ABS materials for its construction and weighs 8.4 lb (3.8 kg).

Operational limits include a maximum pressure of 650 psi (45 bar) and a maximum vacuum of -26.5 in Hg (-0.9 bar). The pump features dual ports: a process connection with 1/4" female BSP threads and a gauge connection with 1/2" female BSP threads.

Configuration Options

The series is available in two primary configurations: the BCHP-1 calibration test pump and the BCHP-KIT, which includes the test pump with 1/4" NPT connections, a fine volume adjustment tool, and a case. The design incorporates a fine adjustment valve to ensure precise measurements.
