Supported Applications

The Omega LD620 series comprises rugged LVDT linear position sensors designed for displacement measurement in industrial automation and control environments. These transducers feature a guided core design with removable springs, providing frictionless operation suitable for applications requiring precise stroke monitoring.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The LD620 series operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 °C to +65°C (32 to 149°F). Storage conditions are specified as -20 to 85°C (-4 to 185°F). The sensors deliver a linearity performance of <0.2% FSO with an output ripple of 0.2% FSO and a bandwidth of 500 Hz (-3 dB).

Measurement Ranges and Outputs

The series supports travel lengths from ±2.5 mm to ±150 mm for bi-directional models (LD620) and 0 to 5 mm up to 0 to 300 mm for uni-directional models (LD621). Output signals are fixed by model family:

  • LD621 Models: 0 to 10 Vdc output
