Supported Applications
The Omega TQ300/TQM300 Series comprises heavy-duty, flange-to-flange mount reaction torque sensors designed for industrial environments. These cells provide non-slip connections suitable for measuring static or dynamic torsional loads in test and measurement setups.

Operating Conditions & Performance
The series delivers high-accuracy performance with an accuracy class of ±0.2% FSO, combining linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability into a single specification of ±0.2% FSO combined. The sensors operate within an ambient temperature range of -54 to 107°C (-65 to 225°F), with thermal effects on zero specified as ±0.005% FSO/°F and span at ±0.005% rdg/°F over a compensated temperature range of 16 to 71°C (60 to 160°F).
Electrical performance includes an output signal of 2 mV/V with an excitation voltage requirement of 10 Vdc, up to a maximum of 15V. The input resistance is specified as 360 Ω minimum and the output resistance as 350 ±5 Ω. Mechanical limits include a safe overload capacity of 150% of rated capacity and an ultimate overload limit of 300% of capacity.
Configuration Options
The TQ300/TQM300 Series is available in standard inch-pound and metric ranges to accommodate various torque magnitudes:
- TQ301-400: 0 to 400 in-lb range.
- TQ302-2K: 0 to 2000 in-lb range.
- TQM301-45N: 0 to 45 N-m range (metric).
Housing construction utilizes stainless steel for durability. Electrical connections vary by model: the TQ301 series includes a 1.2 m (4') 4-conductor, shielded, color-coded PVC cable, while the TQ302-2K features a PTIH-10-6P connection requiring the separate purchase of a PT06F10-6S mating connector.
Dimensions and Mounting
The series supports flange-to-flange mounting with specific dimensional profiles:
- TQ301 / TQM301 Models: 63.5 (2.5) mm diameter, typical length of 63.5 (2.5), and a bolt circle of 50.8 (2.00) DIA B.C. on both ends with four holes.
- TQ302-2K Model: 108 (4.25) mm diameter, length of 119 (4.69), featuring eight equally spaced holes on a 3 5/8 B.C. and TAP 3/8-24 at each end.
Key Product Differences
Variants within the series are distinguished by measurement range, unit system (inch-pound vs. metric), and electrical interface type. The TQ301 models utilize a pre-wired cable assembly, whereas the TQ302-2K model employs an industrial connector interface.
Each sensor is supplied complete with 5-point calibration documentation. Compatible display meters include the DP41-S and DP25B-S series for signal conditioning and readout across all listed ranges.
