Supported Applications

The Omega HTTG Series is PFA Glass Insulated High Temperature Heater Hook-Up Wire designed for high-temperature applications up to 250°C (482°F). The series features a 7% nickel-plated copper conductor and is documented as suitable for appliances, heating/cooling equipment, ovens, kilns, and cartridge heaters. Due to excellent stripping and cutting capabilities, the wire supports use in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The HTTG-1CU series is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 250°C (482°F). The construction includes PFA tape and glass insulation with a PFA-treated glass overbraid, providing moisture resistance and chemical inertness. Standard color is natural (tan).

Configuration Options

The series is configurable across multiple gages, voltage ratings, stranded constructions, nominal outer diameters (OD), weights, and spool lengths. Model numbers follow the format HTTG-1CU-<GAGE>-<VOLTAGE>-<SPOOL_LENGTH>.

Gage and Voltage Options

The series supports the following gages with corresponding voltage ratings:
  • 22 Gage: 300 V (Stranded: 7 x 30)
  • 20 Gage: Available in 300 V and 600 V versions
  • 18 Gage: Available in 300 V and 600 V versions
  • 16 Gage: Available in 300 V and 600 V versions
  • 14 Gage: Available in 300 V and 600 V versions
  • 12 Gage: Available in 300 V and 600 V versions
  • 10 Gage: Available in 300 V and 600 V versions
  • 8 Gage: 600 V (Stranded: 133 x 29)

Spool Lengths

The series is offered in the following spool lengths:

Key Product Differences

Variants within the HTTG-1CU series differ by gage, voltage rating, stranded construction count, nominal OD, and weight per unit length. For example, 20 Gage wire is available in both 300 V (HTTG-1CU-320S) and 600 V (HTTG-1CU-620S) configurations with different nominal outer diameters of 2.1 mm (0.08 inch) and 2.6 mm (0.10 inch), respectively.

Model numbers indicate the specific configuration: S denotes stranded wire, while the numeric prefix indicates gage and voltage class (e.g., HTTG-1CU-314S for 14 Gage at 300 V). Ordering examples include HTTG-1CU-614S-250 for a 250' spool of 14 Gage stranded wire rated at 600 V.
