Supported Applications
The Omega DPF-520 Series is a batching flow processor with additional output controls, designed for use with Omega flow meters and flow sensors, as well as other manufacturers' products that provide frequency outputs proportional to flow. The series indicates flow rate and totalized data on a backlit display featuring 9.66 mm (3/8") digits.

Operating Conditions & Performance
The DPF-520 Series operates within an ambient temperature range of 32° - 130° F (0° - 55° C). The unit accepts a sensor input frequency from 1 to 1000 Hz, which is ESD protected and interfaces with current sinking sensor outputs including NPN, TTL, or contact closure. Sensor power is provided at 12 Vdc, 10 mA.
Display resolution includes an 8-digit totalizer and a 5-digit rate display. User-selectable units of measure for volume include Gallons, cubic feet, cubic meters, millions of gallons, milliliters, fluid ounces, pounds, and liters; time units include Seconds, minutes, hours, and days.
Configuration Options
The series supports multiple power configurations: 115 Vac, 50/60 Hz @ 125 mA (with a standard 3-wire cord included), optional 220 Vac, or DC powered via an internal terminal strip at 12 Vdc @ 750 mA or 10 to 16 Vdc. The enclosure is precision cast aluminum with a NEMA 4X (IP56) rating.
Output capabilities include:
- Analog outputs: 4-20 mA passive opto-isolated, 4-20 mA active, 0-5 Vdc, or 0-10 Vdc
- Batch Outputs: Two form C (SPDT) relays rated at 115 Vac 6A max
- Pulse Outputs: Two programmable pulse-scaled outputs providing up to 100 mA at 60 Vac/Vdc, opto-isolated, open-collector
Memory is stored in non-volatile EEPROM with auto-backup. The housing supports wall-mount applications using two supplied brackets or panel-mount configuration by separating and reassembling the top/bottom housings.
