Supported Applications
The Omega OSAE-Series is a compact fixed infrared temperature sensor designed for non-contact surface temperature measurement. The series calculates object temperature based on emitted infrared energy and converts it into an analog signal or digital display reading.

Operating Conditions & Performance
The OSAE-Series operates with a measurement range of 0°C ~ 500°C (32°F to 932°F) and features an adjustable emissivity setting from 0.100 ~ 1.000. The sensor utilizes a spectral response of 8 ~ 14 μm with an optics resolution of D:S = 20:1 (90% energy). Performance specifications include an accuracy of ±1% of reading or ±1.5°C, whichever is greater, and repeatability of ±0.5% of reading or ±1°C, whichever is greater.

Safety and Environmental Ratings

Configuration Options
- Housing and Mounting: Aluminum alloy body with M20x1 process connection. Standard configuration includes 3m cable length; options available for 5m or 10m cables. Accessories include the OS-FMB Flange Mount Bracket and OS-AMB Angle Mount Bracket.
- Display and Interface: Features a 6-digit backlit LCD display with temperature resolution of 0.1°C. The unit supports °C / °F selection via setup parameters.
- Analog Output Configuration: Provides a 4~20mA analog output signal. Electrical specifications require a minimum load impedance of 10 KΩ (V) and allow a maximum loop resistance of 500 Ω (I).
- Signal Processing Options: Configurable via the sensor setup table for Signal Output Average, Peak Hold, Valley Hold, Advanced Peak Hold, Lower Limit signal output [0V / 4mA], and Upper Limit signal output [5V / 20mA].
Power Requirements
The series requires a power supply of 24 VDC ±20% with a current draw of less than 100 mA.
