Supported Applications

The Omega CRT Series E-Mitters are bulb-style radiant heaters designed to prevent moisture accumulation, freezing, mildew, and condensation. Documented applications include electrical control boxes, clothes lockers, resistor banks, and incubators.

Operating Conditions & Performance

These hollow, tube-shaped ceramic heaters feature a screw-in base (E26 type) with overall dimensions of 36 mm (1.40") diameter x 110 mm (4.325") length. The series operates in an ambient temperature of 22°C (72°F). Surface temperatures vary by model, ranging from a typical 464°F (240°C) for the CRT10100 up to 1049°F (565°C) for the CRT10105. The maximum wattage across the series is 250W.

Configuration Options

The CRT Series is configurable across voltage, wattage, color, and housing options. Standard electrical connections are available at 120 or 240 Vac.

  • CRT10102 / CRT10107: 100W available at 120V or 240V

  • CRT10105 / CRT10110: 250W available at 120V or 240V

Color and Housing Options

  • Standard Colors: Metamorphing rose, straight white.
  • Optional Colors: Metamorphing yellow, straight black.
  • Housing Ratings: NEMA 1 or NEMA 4 (if required).

Key Product Differences

The series distinguishes models primarily by wattage and voltage configuration. The model number format follows the pattern CRT, such as CRT10103 for a specific variant. While standard stock units are listed, Omega can manufacture custom engineered heaters to meet requirements for sizes and ratings not included in the standard table.
