Operating Conditions & Performance
The RLC-70 Series provides temperature indication across six specific measurement ranges: 10 to 40°C, 60 to 90°F, 0 to 12°C, 32 to 54°F, 0 to 75°C, and 25 to 100°C. Accuracy is specified as 40% of the scale increment value when at full color.
Physical dimensions for all models are 19 W x 132 L x 0.25 mm T (0.75 x 5.19 x 0.01"). The strips feature an easy-to-mount adhesive back and utilize a reversible liquid crystal display where color indicates the temperature relative to the reading:
- BROWN: Bar is just above the actual reading.
- GREEN: Bar is the actual reading.
- BLUE: Bar is just below the actual reading.
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable temperature ranges and package sizes. Models are identified by a model number guide following the pattern RLC-70-<TEMP_RANGE>-<PACKAGE_SIZE>. Available configurations include:
- Room thermometers: 10 to 40°C (2°C increments) and 60 to 90°F (2°F increments, includes corresponding °C scale).
- Refrigerator thermometers: 0 to 12°C (2°C increments) and 32 to 54°F (4°F increments, includes corresponding °C scale).
- General purpose thermometers: 0 to 75°C (5°C increments) and 25 to 100°C (5°C increments).
Packages are sold in quantities of 10 or 30. The package size is indicated by appending "-10" for a package of 10 or "-30" for a package of 30 to the model number.
