Supported Applications
The HH1385 is a digital 4-input thermometer and data logger that works with any K, J, E, T, R, S or N type thermocouple sensor. It delivers higher accuracy and better uniformity across thermocouple types, and stores over 16,800 temperature readings, making it a practical tool for multi-point temperature surveys, equipment commissioning and long-term process monitoring.
Up to four thermocouples plug directly into miniature female thermocouple receptacles, and logged data transfers to a PC over a USB serial interface for analysis and record-keeping.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The logger operates on the ITS-90 temperature scale. For K/J/E/T/N types, accuracy is ±(0.05% rdg + 0.7°C); for R/S type it is ±(0.05% rdg + 3°C). Below -100°C (-148°F), accuracy is ±0.15% reading for K, J, T and E and ±0.45% reading for N. The temperature coefficient is 0.05% of reading ±0.07°C per °C outside the specified 18 to 28°C band.
Display resolution is 0.1 for K/J/T/E/N/R/S at or below 1000°C and 1 for R/S and K/J/E/N at or above 1000°C. The instrument operates from 0°C to 50°C (32°F to +122°F) at less than 80% RH, with storage over the same 0°C to 50°C range under 80% relative humidity.
Configuration Options
Although the HH1385 is a single instrument, its capability lies in how far each supported thermocouple type can reach. The type selected sets the usable span:
- Type K: -200°C to +1372°C (-328°F to +2501°F)
- Type J: -210°C to +1200°C (-346°F to +2192°F)
- Type T: -250°C to +400°C (-418°F to +752°F)
- Type E: -210°C to +1000°C (-346°F to +1832°F)
- Type N: -150°C to +1300°C (-238°F to +2372°F)
- Type R/S: -0°C to +1767°C
