Supported Applications

The Omega MWTC-D-Series is a miniature portable wireless thermocouple sensor and data logger designed for temperature monitoring applications. The series identity centers on wireless transmission of thermocouple measurements with integrated logging capabilities.

Operating Conditions & Performance

No specific performance specifications, measurement ranges, accuracy values, or environmental limits are provided in the current source bundle for this series. Technical parameters such as temperature range, response time, and operating conditions must be verified against individual product documentation not included here.

Available Sensor Types

The documented variants indicate support for multiple thermocouple types:

  • Type J (MWTC-D-J-915)
  • Type K (MWTC-D-K-915)
  • Type T (MWTC-D-T-915)

Configuration Options

The series is offered in three distinct configurations differentiated by thermocouple sensor type. All listed variants operate on the 915 MHz frequency band, as indicated by their model suffixes.

  • Sensor Element: Configurable for Type J, K, or T thermocouples
  • Wireless Frequency: 915 MHz (per variant part number)
  • Form Factor: Miniature and portable design
  • Data Logging: Integrated data logger functionality per series title

Key Product Differences

The primary distinction among the MWTC-D-Series variants is the thermocouple type supported. The model codes explicitly identify these differences:

  • MWTC-D-J-915: Type J thermocouple sensor
  • MWTC-D-K-915: Type K thermocouple sensor
  • MWTC-D-T-915: Type T thermocouple sensor

What are the physical dimensions of the unit (length)? I would need to add the length of the thermocouple plug to find the overall length of the assembly. I need to verify if it will fit in our enclosure.

Asked by: ScottG
Hello Scott The dimensions of the device are 82.5 L x 25.4 W x 15.2 H mm (3.25 x 1 x 0.6") A mini-thermocouple connector's dimensions when connected to the transmitter are 20.6 (0.81") by 7.9 (0.31") and the width being 16.8 (0.66)
