Touch-safe heater for the use in enclosures with electrical/electronic components. The design of the heater supports the natural convection which results in a high air current of warm air. The surface temperatures on the accessible side surfaces of the housing are kept down as a result of the heater design. This model with plug-in thermostat does not require additional wiring. The heaters are designed for permanent operation. This heater is also available in a version without thermostat (CS 060).
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thermostat does not work, get a real heater. I needed to keep an enclosure warm. I thought it would be great to get one with an integrated thermostat. Bad move. Lemon. Does not work. Tech support was unhelpful. I solved the issue by going to Home Depot and buying a real thermostat. Hooked it up and it worked great. All you need to do is close the circuit and it turns on. For fun I placed the red thermostat it comes with in the freezer for an hour. It is supposed to switch at 59º F. I tested continuity and the pins are still open. Verified broken. Nice. Bottom line don't trust it and order a better one. Also I couldn't post this with Ad Blockers. Had to re-type. Kind of annoying...
