Supported Applications

The Omega OM-CP-PULSE101A is a pulse input data logger designed to sense and record pulses or contact closures from external sources. Documented applications include monitoring gas, water, and electric meters via transducers or pulse initiators. The device transforms these inputs into engineering units, allowing users to store user-defined units such as gallons/min or scale outputs for flow rate and wind speed.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The OM-CP-PULSE101A operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F) and a humidity rating of 0 to 95% RH non-condensing. It accepts pulse inputs in the continuous voltage range of 0 to 30 Vdc with a maximum frequency of 0 to 10 KHz.   • Maintenance Kits: The OM-CP-WATERBOX101A-KIT provides a maintenance kit for the weatherproof enclosure.

The device includes an electrical connection via removable screw terminals. Optional password protection restricts access to configuration options, though data can be read out without the password status indicator LEDs provide visual feedback: Green LED blinks at 10-second rate (logging) or 15-second rate (delay start); Red LED indicates low battery/full memory (10-second blink) or alarm condition (1-second blink).
