Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series TPT Industrial Pressure Transmitter is designed for industrial pressure applications involving compatible liquids and gases. Machined from a solid piece of 17-4PH SS, the unit provides a leak-proof, all-metal system without O-rings, welds, or organics exposed to the pressure media.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series TPT utilizes piezoresistive technology with digital compensation and temperature correction. It is rated for an operating ambient and process temperature range of -13° to 185°F (-20° to 85°C), which also defines the compensated temperature range. The enclosure carries an IP65 rating.
Performance specifications include:

The series supports pressure ranges from 0 to 100 psig up to 0 to 5000 psig. Per the specification table, proof pressure is rated at 2x FS and burst pressure at 3x FS for each range.
Configuration Options
The Series TPT offers configurable output signals and power requirements based on model selection:
- Ratiometric Output Models (TPT-Rxx): Provide a 0.5 to 4.5 VDC signal with a required supply of 4.75 to 5.25 VDC.
- Current Loop Models (TPT-Cxx): Provide a 4 to 20 mA output with a power requirement of 9 to 30 VDC.
All models feature a Packard connector for electrical connection and a 1/4"-18 male NPT process connection. The wetted materials are exclusively 17-4PH SS. Available options include the A-960 accessory (3' packard cable) and order code NISTCAL-PT1 for a NIST traceable calibration certificate.
Key Product Differences
The series is divided into two primary output families distinguished by their model prefixes:
- TPT-R Series (Ratiometric): Models TPT-R01 through TPT-R06 cover ranges from 100 psi to 5000 psi. These units require a regulated DC supply between 4.75 and 5.25 VDC.
- TPT-C Series (Current Loop): Models TPT-C01 through TPT-C06 cover ranges from 100 psi to 5000 psi. These units operate on a wider DC supply range of 9 to 30 VDC and output a standard industrial current signal.
The device is not field serviceable; repair requires returning the unit as specified in manufacturer warnings.
