Supported Applications
The Omega SCE series consists of NEMA Type 3R and 12 two-door metal electrical enclosures designed to house electrical and electronic controls, instruments, and components. These units provide protection from dust, oil, and water for indoor or outdoor installations.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series is constructed from 0.104" Carbon Steel with continuously welded and ground smooth seams. Enclosures feature an oil-resistant door gasket and a black zinc die-cast keylocking/padlocking handle with a 3-point latching mechanism.
Approvals include UL Listed Type 3R and 12, CSA Type 3R and 12, and IEC 60529 IP 55. To meet NEMA 3R ratings for outdoor use, drip shields are required for specific widths (48", 60", or 72").

Standard features include gasketed overlapping doors, a concealed hinge, removable print pocket, heavy-duty lifting eyes, panel supports, and a ground stud on the door.

- Drip Shields: Available for 48", 60", and 72" wide outdoor enclosures (models SCE-DS48N4, SCE-DS60N4, SCE-DS72N4).
- Optional Panels: Powder coated white panels are available.
Model Numbering & Internal Dimensions
The model number follows the format SCE-<HEIGHT><WIDTH><DEPTH>LP - <SUB-PANEL MODEL NO.>. For example, SCE-604808LP denotes a 60" height, 48" width, and 8" depth enclosure. Internal panel dimensions vary by model size:
- SCE-60P48 Series (for 60x48 enclosures): Panel Height 56.00", Width 44.00".
- SCE-60P60 Series (for 60x60 enclosures): Panel Height 56.00", Width 56.00".
- SCE-72P60 Series (for 72x60 enclosures): Panel Height 68.00", Width 56.00".
- SCE-72P72 Series (for 72x72 enclosures): Panel Height 68.00", Width 68.00".
Depth Options by Size
Available depths depend on the height and width configuration:
- 60 x 48 in models: Available in 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24 inches depth.

Collar studs are provided for mounting optional panels. The series does not include a built-in display or sensor; it serves as a protective housing for external instrumentation and control components.
