- HVAC installations
- Building Automation systems
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series utilizes a Pt 1000 Ω RTD DIN Class A 0.00385Ω/°C temperature sensor to measure within the range of 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C). Accuracy is specified as ±0.5 °C @ 25 °C, with a thermal effect of ±0.01%/°C and a response time of 100 ms.
- Enclosure Rating: IP20
- Weight: 2.6 oz (73.7 g)
Configuration Options
The Series BTT-E/N is offered in two housing styles and provides selectable output signals to accommodate different control system requirements.
Housing Styles
- North American style: 4-1/2 [114.30] height, 2-51/64 [71.12] width, 1-3/32 [27.69] depth (per data sheet) or 1-3/16 [30.00] depth (per manual)
- European style: 3-21/32 [92.96] height, 3-9/16 [90.42] width, 1-1/16 [27.05] depth
Output Signals & Power Requirements
The series supports two output configurations:
- Current models: 4 to 20 mA; requires 13 to 36 VDC power supply.
- Voltage models: 0 to 10 VDC; requires 13 to 36 VDC or 16 to 28 VAC power supply.
Electrical Connections
All units feature a screw terminal block for electrical connections. The series carries CE compliance approval.
Key Product Differences
The four enumerated models in the Series BTT-E/N differ by housing style and output signal type:
- BTT-N00-3: North American style, 4 to 20 mA output
- BTT-N00-4: North American style, 0 to 10 VDC output
- BTT-E00-3: European style, 4 to 20 mA output
- BTT-E00-4: European style, 0 to 10 VDC output
Model numbers follow the format BTT-<Housing Style>-<Output Type>. The transmitter is not field serviceable and should be returned if repair is needed.
