Les transmetteurs des séries HX93B et HX93BD permettent de surveiller à distance et sur site la température et l'humidité relative. Les deux séries émettent un signal de courant ou de tension linéarisé proportionnel à la température et à l'humidité relative. La sortie d'humidité relative est compensée en température. Les modèles à sortie de courant permettent de placer le transmetteur à distance, pratiquement à n'importe quelle distance de l'appareil de mesure. Les modèles HX93BD sont équipés d'un affichage numérique intégré qui indique simultanément la température et l'humidité relative. Tous les modèles utilisent un capteur numérique précis. Un filtre en maille d'acier inoxydable, facilement amovible pour le nettoyage, protège le capteur. Les vis de montage sont facilement accessibles à l'intérieur du boîtier robuste en polycarbonate qui protège les composants électroniques conformément à la norme NEMA 13 (IP54).

Works great even in a dirty environment
I got several of these units for capturing ambient temperature and humidity around some of the batch mixers in my plant. The units were easy to set up and were quite reliable, especially considering the dirty environment that they lived in.

Generally very good.
Although they are expensive it is nice to have both the display and the analog output. They are generally reliable for extended periods of time.However, one of the last two I purchased was dead out of the box. That was not something I had seen before, having used dozens of this generation and the previous generation.

Unknown functionality due to manufacturing issue
I bought this sensor and it was labeled properly HX93BV2 for the 0-10Vdc version on the outside but on the inside, the printed circuit board is marked as "C" indicating it's a 4-20mA version. So I exchanged it and alas, the second one has the same assembly issue.

I have a hx93bd the led just shows hash marks, no temp or RH
Possible sensor issue. My not be fully seated or plugged in. Best to call in and discuss.

I have an HX93BDC that I bought some time ago to have as a spare for one in service. I powered it up today and the analog outputs are working properly but there is no display. The backlight works, but no readout of temperature or humidity.

Is the chassis ground terminal, #5, for safety grounding only, or does connecting this affect the performance of the device?

Thank you for the inquiry. 5 and 4 terminals are internally connected. These are used as common (-) return side of power source. This is not a safety ground connection.

re HX93B: 1) assuming the sensor is immersed in an air stream, what velocity range is the calibration valid? 2) what is the minimum storage temperature? 3) what altitude range is the sensor calibration valid?

Does the HX93BDC have calibration certificate available from Omega? We are using it only for personal comfort in a lab but wanted to see if we should calibrate it prior to installation or if it is factory calibrated and meets accuracy specs as received.
