Les contrôleurs de puissance de la série SCR19 sont conçus pour répartir l'énergie électrique uniquement vers des charges résistives, telles que les fours, les fours à fusion, les thermoscelleuses, etc. (REMARQUE : ils ne sont pas conçus pour alimenter des transformateurs ou toute autre charge inductive.) Les contrôleurs se composent de semi-conducteurs de puissance (SCR), de dissipateurs thermiques de taille appropriée, de circuits de déclenchement et de fusibles approvisionnés sur des panneaux pour un montage en surface. Le contrôleur de puissance accepte une sortie de 4 à 20 mA CC provenant d'un contrôleur de température ou peut être fourni avec une option manuelle utilisant un potentiomètre à distance.

Les contrôleurs de la série SCR19 offrent deux méthodes de contrôle proportionnel † : commutation à tension nulle et déclenchement à angle de phase. En mode de commutation à tension nulle, le contrôleur active des cycles complets de la tension d'alimentation CA. Le circuit de déclenchement est conçu pour activer les SCR aussi près que possible du point où l'onde sinusoïdale CA passe par zéro. En effet, la tension de ligne est activée et désactivée et appliquée aux éléments chauffants pendant des cycles complets. Avec une entrée de 4 à 20 mA, la sortie sera désactivée en dessous de 4 mA et activée à 20 mA. L'action proportionnelle est obtenue en faisant varier le nombre de cycles activés par rapport au nombre de cycles désactivés. La sortie variera d'un cycle activé et neuf cycles désactivés à faible entrée, à tous les cycles activés à entrée maximale. Cette sortie est intégrée par les éléments chauffants qui produisent une puissance calorifique proportionnelle et régulière qui varie directement avec le signal d'entrée. Avec le mode à angle de phase, la puissance fournie à la charge est contrôlée en régulant le point d'activation (déclenchement) de chaque demi-cycle de l'onde sinusoïdale alternative complète.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eggcellent SCR packs for thermal evaporation. These controllers have performed 100% over the years I have used them. They have never failed. My application is controlling step down transformers that step 240VAC down to 0-5VAC. This allows me to deliver thousands of Amps-AC to Tungsten "boats" where pellets of metals and metallic compounds are caused to evaporate for the production of semiconductors and optical coatings. Three cheers To Omega Engineering for a fine product!

The unit functioned well for about 2 hours, and then failed during a critical test when the 40-amp fuse blew when loaded to approximately 22 amps. All heaters served by the unit were intact, exhibiting cold resistance readings within specification, and no sign of shorting or other failure modes. The failure necessitated extensive effort to heel-out cooled and solidified process melt, delayed the project schedule, and jeopardized the next tranche of project funding.

Any chance for a CAD model or dimensional drawing of a SCR39P-20-040-S9? I need to fit 4 in a panel and the overall dimensions are not enough information.

Can the high speed fuse be removed or replaced with a slower acting fuse? Having issues with the fuses blowing unnecessarily

Where can I find a mechanical drawings or 3D CAD model? I need to create a model for space planning in my system.

Unfortunately Omega does not have 3D models for this to send and dimensions provided in the user's guide and on the data sheet would be the best available information.

Attempting to power a 50W heater (120V at 0.4A). When testing, the controller only seems to provide 1.2V, can you suggest any troubleshooting steps I could take. Wiring has been checked and double checked. Confused as to why at 20mA it only supplies 1.2V.
