La série Omega EXGG-RSX propose des fils d'extension duplex pour thermocouples de qualité supérieure, spécialement conçus pour les applications de type R/S (RX/SX). Is there a reason the R/S wire doesn't come in 16 AWG in glass, pfa, or FEP insulation? It looks like the only 16 AWG option is the Polyvinyl insulation.

What is the recommended tool to remove the insulation of a PFA cable jacket?
Thank you for your inquiry. A thermal wire stripper can effectively remove PFA insulation from wire without damaging the conductor. Unfortunately, we no longer carry this type of product. You can purchase a similar product from another manufacturer.

Thank you for your inquiry. That depends on how high you want to expose the extension wire to but the glass, Neoflon PFA and Neoflon FEP all are rated up to a maximum temperature of 200 C (392 F). If you have any further questions, please email the Temperature Tech support at temp@omega.com.
