SONDES À THERMOCOUPLE À BOUCHON DE TUYAU

Ces capteurs à thermocouple à bouchon haute pression sont disponibles avec des thermocouples à élément simple ou double, et sont idéaux pour les applications dans les cuves, les conteneurs sous pression et les applications nécessitant une sécurité NPT montée. La gaine en acier inoxydable 304 a un diamètre de 6,4 mm (1/4") qui dépasse de 1/2" de l'extrémité du bouchon de tuyau 1/4 ou 1/8 NPT. D'autres longueurs de gaine sont disponibles. Les fils conducteurs de qualité thermocouple sont toronnés 20 AWG, isolés en fibre de verre et tressés en acier inoxydable avec des conducteurs dénudés. Les connecteurs sont fixés sur demande. Les jonctions sont mises à la terre ou non pour une pression nominale allant jusqu'à 2500 psi. Des jonctions exposées sont disponibles pour les mesures de température de l'air ou du gaz à pression ambiante. Pour serrer les filetages de montage, il y a une section hexagonale de 22 mm (0,56") de diamètre et de 5,8 mm (0,23") de largeur.

What is the OD of the cable?

Thank you for your inquiry. For 1/4 NPT models the nominal size of the cable is 2.3 x 3.2 mm (0.090 x 0.127 inch) and for 1/8 NPT models the nominal size of the cable is 2.0 x 2.8 mm (0.080 x 0.110 inch).

What is the max acceleration these can withstand? I want to add these to a test part that is being shaken at ~0.05 m/s2 and a displacement of ±17 mm. Are these TC's able to withstand this acceleration w/o failure?

Why is T Type probe rated only to 0°C when type T thermocouple wire is designed to function well below -190°C . What is the limiting material in the probe that prevents use at cryogenic temperatures?

Thank you for your inquiry. All of our thermocouples are made with Special Limits of Error (SLE). Special Limits of Error Wire (SLE) made products are only spec’d out for temperatures above 32°F (0°C). So, anything below 32°F (0°C) does not comply with the SLE specification. We don't state an accuracy for SLE Wire-Made Products below 0°C (32°F). Accuracy testing shows it is no longer linear. We cannot certify or guarantee the accuracy for temperatures below 0 C. The thermocouples can still measure temperatures below 0 C but we cannot certify the accuracy.

Do these Thermocouples come with a calibration certificate of some kind?

Thank you for your inquiry. No, the standard thermocouple models only come with CAL-1 which is the certificate of conformance. If you need a calibration certificate, you need to add the 3 temperature point calibration service CAL-3 using the configurator on the website.
