Les connecteurs thermocouples OMEGA SMPW sont des connecteurs TC miniatures plats à 2 broches conçus pour connecter des instruments de mesure de température à un régulateur de température ou à un panneau d'automatisation IHM de contrôle de processus. Compatibles avec tout autre connecteur TC miniatures à 2 broches, fiche thermocouple mâle à 2 pôles ou prise thermocouple femelle à 2 broches.
Fiches et prises à cosse pour connecteurs thermocouples avec codes couleur conformes aux normes ANSI, ASTM et CEI. Les alliages de compensation thermocouples utilisés sont les suivants : Type K (–AL +CH) Jaune, Type J(–CO +IR)noir, type T (–CO +CP) bleu, type E (–CO +CH) violet, type N (-NN +NP) orange, type R/S (-11 +CP) vert, type C (-CNX +CPX) rouge et type U (–CP +CP) blanc non compensé.
Ce connecteur de thermocouple ultime, modèle SMPW-CC , est idéal pour connecter rapidement et facilement un câble TC ou un fil de thermocouple à l'aide d'un serre-câble TC. Le capuchon/serre-câble contient 4 vis imperdables et élimine les petites vis lâches typiques des serre-câbles métalliques traditionnels pour thermocouples. Sont inclus une plaque de serrage métallique, un dispositif de décharge de traction et des œillets

Do these come in different colors, or does anyone have any DIY tricks for color coding? My applications use these in critical spots and in high volume, where mismatch mistakes can be painful in lost time and troubleshooting.
Yes the SMPW connectors are color coded by Thermocouple type so there is no confusion on what should be used in any application.

What are the recommended torque values for the cover screws?

I have an Omega HH12A that is about 12 years old. Can I still get the yellow plug with the 1 meter thermocouples?What is the part # and how much each? The Certificate of Traceable Calibration: HH12A 07110271
Thanks for your question Charley. If you are looking for the thermocouples without the adhesive backing you are going to want to look at the SRTC series. Those come with the thermocouple and connector. If you are looking for the thermocouple with a silicone adhesive backing the series you are going to be looking for is the SA1 thermocouples. For the yellow connector, that would be K type thermocouple. The insulation, wire gauge and length can be altered to your specific needs.

What is the purpose of the 2.5 mm hole located between the + and - symbols near the end of the connector? Is it for grounding? Can it be used for mounting?
The hole has no electrical connection and can be used to secure the connector to a surface if the user wishes to use it that way.

What are the electrical properties for the SMPW-CC-K-F?
These connectors are meant to carry millivolt signals generated by Thermocouples so there are no electrical ratings like on a electrical plug.

What is the measurement tolerance spec on this (SMPW-CC-K-M ) connector?
