  • L’échelle litho-imprimée de précision est précise et facile à lire.
  • Le pointeur à pointe rouge en tube d’aluminium traité thermiquement est facile à voir. Il est monté rigidement sur l’arbre hélicoïdal.
  • Les butées du pointeur en caoutchouc moulé empêchent le dépassement du pointeur sans dommage.
  • L’assemblage en « fourche » fournit le montage pour l’hélice, les roulements de l’hélice et l’arbre du pointeur.
  • Les roulements à rubis sont montés de manière antichoc; ils assurent un mouvement pratiquement sans friction pour l’hélice. Le mouvement est amorti par un fluide silicone à haute viscosité.
  • La vis de réglage du zéro est commodément située dans le couvercle en plastique, accessible sans retirer le couvercle. Le joint torique assure l’étanchéité à la pression.
  • L’hélice est fabriquée avec précision à partir d’un alliage à haute perméabilité magnétique. Montée sur des roulements à rubis, elle tourne librement, suivant le champ magnétique pour déplacer le pointeur sur l’échelle.
  • Le ressort de plage calibré est en acier ressort plat. La faible amplitude de mouvement assure la constance et une longue durée de vie. Il réagit à la pression sur la membrane. La longueur active est ajustable pour l’étalonnage.
  • La membrane en caoutchouc silicone avec joint torique moulé intégralement est soutenue par des plaques avant et arrière. Elle est verrouillée et scellée en position avec une plaque d’étanchéité et un anneau de retenue. Le mouvement de la membrane est limité pour éviter les dommages dus aux surpressions.
  • Le boîtier en aluminium moulé sous pression est fabriqué avec précision et traité à l’iridite pour résister à un test de corrosion par brouillard salin de 168 heures. L’extérieur est fini avec un revêtement foncé gris martelé cuit. Une seule taille de boîtier est utilisée pour toutes les options de pression standard, ainsi que pour les montages en surface et affleurants.
  • PROTECTION CONTRE LES SURPRESSIONSLe bouchon de sécurité est composé d’un bouchon en caoutchouc à l’arrière qui fonctionne comme une soupape de décharge en se désolidarisant et en ventilant l’intérieur du manomètre lorsque la surpression atteint environ 25 psig (1,7 bar). Pour permettre un chemin libre pour la décharge de pression, quatre cales maintiennent un jeu de 0,023" lorsque le manomètre est monté en surface. Ne pas obstruer l’espace créé par ces cales. Le bouchon de sécurité n’est pas utilisé sur les modèles au-dessus de 180" d’eau, les modèles moyenne ou haute pression, ni sur les manomètres nécessitant un élastomère autre que le silicone pour la membrane. Le bouchon de sécurité ne doit pas être utilisé comme contrôle de surpression du système. Des pressions d’alimentation élevées peuvent toujours provoquer la défaillance du manomètre due à une surpression, entraînant des dommages matériels ou des blessures graves. De bonnes pratiques d’ingénierie doivent être utilisées pour empêcher que votre système ne dépasse les limites des composants.
  • Le joint torique du couvercle assure l’intégrité à la pression du boîtier.
  • Un aimant au cobalt samarium monté à une extrémité du ressort de plage fait tourner l’hélice sans liaison mécanique.

Does the Series 2000 come with a standard mounting bracket, or do we have to purchase it separately?

The Magnehelic does not come with a mounting bracket; however, it does come with mounting screws and lugs that can be used to surface mount or flush mount the unit.

What should the magnehelic gauge read for a negative pressure room in a hospital. Is there any calibration or maintenance that needs to be done

Negative pressure rooms are type of hospital rooms that keeps patients with infectious illnesses, or patients who are susceptible to infections from others, away from other patients. Due to the nature of this request we cannot provide you the data on what the gauge should read. However if you provide us with the pressure range, we can help you select an appropriate unit.
