These may work for you but not for me.
With the heat cycling that takes place in an oven I guess these are as good as Omega makes. These are not long term solutions to connection points inside any oven in my opinion. I have larger ovens 30' x 22' x 10', 2 of them. I have long cables that run from these outlets to the thermoprobes embedded in the tooling. These ovens have large fans that swirl the air inside at about 25 MPH. The air movement combined with the temperatures and the weight of the extension cables causes these connectors to loose conductivity in about 6 months. Not to mention that at times the extension cable will just unplug at times because the socket cannot keep friction hold. It has taken me a lot of time and effort but this should be the last round of these connectors that have never worked for me in these Wisconsin Ovens I have to deal with. I have found connectors that actually have positive locking cams that take all the stress off the conductor points and put it on the shell housing where the stresses should be. All conductors are made from the proper material for matching metals in all thermocouple types. I tried to deal with Omega engineers with this issue and that went no where.
If you have a oven or other use where there is no stress on the plug and socket and your runs are short these most likely will work for you. But for me, inside the oven, with the wind and temperature cycles (max temp 500F) they are woefully inadequate.
