Just what we needed!
We had a science project at school and this is the type of thermometer we needed. It was surprisingly hard to find in stores in this area, so we went online to order. It took a while to arrive, and it could have had way less packaging, but it made it on time after all and we are glad.

My son used these for his experiment
We ordered three of these thermometers for my son's middle school science experiment. They worked just fine. And, Omega customer service is the best!

GT-736570 Thermometers - partial immersion 12"
I bought these for my high school physics class (I'm the teacher, lab tech, etc.), and they worked extremely well for measuring temperatures from 20 C to 100 C. Most of the students were able to get single-digit experimental errors in a calorimeter experiment, and these kids are rank rookies. I'm very happy with the product. I have 38 years experience as an engineer, including 5 years in test, and I knew Omega was quality equipment.
