Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series 2600 Microprocessor Based Temperature/Process Controllers are designed for temperature and process control applications. The series features a universal input capable of accepting thermocouple types J, K, E, T, L, N, B, C, S & R; RTDs including 100Ω Plt. NIST, 100Ω Plt. DIN, 120Ω Ni Industrial, and 1000Ω Plt. DIN; differential input (-10 to +10 mV DC); and process inputs (0 to 20 mA DC, 0 to 10 VDC). Standard features include Self-Tune, Fuzzy Logic, fully adjustable PID, Auto/Manual control with bumpless transfer, percent output indication, peak and valley indication, loop break protection, and a front panel activation key.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series 2600 operates within an ambient temperature range of 14 to 131°F (-10 to 55°C). Accuracy is specified as ±0.25% of span, ±1 least significant digit. For process inputs, the display is fully programmable from -1999 to +9999 with a selectable decimal point location; most thermocouple and RTD inputs can show whole or tenth degree displays. The unit includes a standard 24 Volt isolated, regulated power supply designed to operate most standard 4-20 mA transmitters.
Physical dimensions are listed as height: 3-19/32 [91.3], width: 4-9/16 [115.8], and depth: 17/32 [13.5]. The enclosure rating is NEMA 4X (IP65). Weight is 13 oz (369 g).

Configuration Options
The Series 2600 is available with single or dual setpoint outputs and can be programmed for on-off, PID, heat/cool, or latching alarm modes. All outputs are isolated from the inputs.

- Current: 0-20 mA DC, scalable into 600 ohms maximum load resistance.

Key Product Differences
The series includes specific model configurations based on output combinations:
- Model 26130: Alarm enabled; Output A is Relay; Output B is None.
- Model 26150: Alarm enabled; Output A is Current; Output B is None.
- Model 26133: Alarm enabled; Output A is Relay; Output B is Relay.
Note: When switching inductive loads (relays, motors, solenoids), an R/C snubber should be used across the coil. For thermocouple input, extension leads of the same type designated for the specific thermocouple must always be used.

Horrible bracket design
The plastic bracket that hold the controller to the panel is a poor design and not rigid enough to hold the controller in its mounting hole. I had to wrap Velcro around the bracket to keep it engaged with the teeth on the controller body. There is no way the bracket can insure a NEMA rated seal.
