The PX190 series compact pressure transducers feature a rugged IP67-rated design with 17-4PH stainless steel wetted parts. Offering ±0.5% accuracy, 1/8 in NPT male process connection, and a 19-inch cable, they provide reliable, cost-efficient performance in a compact form under 2 feet in length. Suitable for various applications requiring current and voltage outputs.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sensor, details are lacking. Like the design, but the termination and artificially stiff backer rod in the cable are both sub-par.

For the PX191 (voltage output signal) transducers, what are the wires? I'm specifically wondering about the number of wires and the gauge as well as how a customer can pick out which wire corresponds to what.

Asked by: LewisCJ
The PX191 Series pressure transducer is a 3 wire voltage output device. Wiring is as follow. Red = + Input Power, White = + Output Signal, Black= Common (- Input Power & - Output Signal

Are the PX191 series sensors suitable for diesel engine fuel pressure monitoring (150psi)? Wetted parts will be in contact with the diesel fuel. My main concern is fire risk if the sensor becomes a heat source.

Asked by: APEDE
Thank you for your inquiry, we recommend that you use an intrinsically safe sensor whenever monitoring any media that is flammable.

According to your website power supply requirement is : 5V DC for PX191 Models, 10 to 28V DC for PX192 Models. I have a PX191, 3-wire voltage output of 0.5 - 4.5 V. I'll repeat my earlier question- what is the amount of current required for these.

Asked by: becky
Becky, thank you for contacting Omega Engineering. Maximum current draw would be 24 mA. You can consider using the PST-4130 power supply. If you have more questions please email pressure@omega.com

What power supply do you recommend for a PX109-060G5V pressure sensor. It will have to power 4 sensors. Thank you.

Asked by: rluken
The PX109-060G5V requires 8 to 30 VDC unregulated power. Current draw from the power would be approx 10 mA. The PSU-93 power supply has sufficient current capability to drive 4 of these sensors.

What is the maximum resolution of the transducer? We need to measure in resolution of 0.001 torr.

Asked by: Nadav
Thank you for you inquiry This unit will not woirk to .001 torr please contact the pressure engineers to discuss options that are available.

Several questions - What will the voltage at 1 Torr be and what will the voltage be at 2 Torr? What is the mass of the unit?

Asked by: JoeRay
The output from the PX190 is 0.5 to 4.5, from zero to full scale. 1 Torr = 0.019337 PSI, the amount of change in the output that you would see from a 75 PS I sensor would be so small we would recommend that you choose a lower range sensor.

A PX-191 appears to require a 5 Vdc excitation voltage. What is the current draw?

Asked by: becky
Thank you for your inquiry Power Supply requirement is 10 to 28V DC with the maximum current draw would be 24 mA

Will PX190 work with gas and liquid pressures?

Asked by: manu
Thank you for your inquiry Yes the unit has 17-4PH stainless steel wetted parts so as long as the media will work with stainless steel that would be fine.
