Can the load cell be used to measure the force in the reverse direction (i.e. tension) as well? We have to mount the cell upside down, does it work in that configuration?

The beam low cell comes calibrated in One Direction However it can measure in tension or compression.

What is the Waterproof rating of this device?
The environmental rating for the LC501 is IP40. It is not waterproof
