Product Overview
Formulated to provide precise pH determinations, these buffer solutions which are standardized against N.I.S.T.-certified reference samples, are ideal for calibrating electrodes and pH meters. The buffers are color-coded to avoid error and accurate to within ±0.01 pH at 25 °C (77 °F). Each buffer contains a preservative/mold inhibitor and a shrink-sealed cap to prevent contamination and leakage. Temperature compensation charts are included with each buffer solution. The shelf life of the buffer solutions are 1 Year.

Great Product DOESN'T COME IN BOTTLES
Ph solution worked as advertised but was disappointed that the solution came in UN-resealable bags. I was under the impression they were in bottles.

If buffers are susceptible to contamination, how long are they good for after opening the container?
pH buffer solutions have 1 year shelf life. You should follow the expiration date on the bottle.

How should this solution be disposed of?
Thank you for your inquiry. Standard buffer solutions are comprised of salts and can be drained into a sink and flushed with copious amount water afterwards.
