Omega offers a wide selection of RTD embedded miniature sensors available in four different metal style cases to fit bearing applications for early warning lost lubrication and oil film breakdown in rotating equipment. They are also easy to installed in drilled holes for general purpose metal temperature monitoring on surfaces or in tight spaces.

These embedded sensors are physically interchangeable and feature a variety of mounting methods, including: spring loading or potting in drilled holes and a factory applied babbitt metal tip (Case styles A & B) to reduce overheating of the sensors when installed in babbitt layer.

They also feature corresponding RTD stranded lead wire options of PTFE lead wire, or PTFE lead wire with stainless steel overbraid for durability, or PTFE lead wires with stainless steel overbraid and a Teflon sleeve filled with elastomer for rugged cable that prevents migration of oil along the cable where a cable exits a machine housing.
