These unique leaf style surface probes feature ultra-low thermal mass and flexible construction, making them suitable for rugged industrial applications where rapid response is required.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series utilizes Type K thermocouple elements with a documented operating range of 0 to 300°C (32 to 572°F). Accuracy is specified as ±2°C (±4°F) across this measurement envelope. The probes achieve a response time of less than 5 seconds.
Physical dimensions for the series include an overall length of 136.5 mm (5.38 in) and a diameter of 9.52 mm (0.38 in). Two insertion lengths are available: 40 mm (1.5 in) on model 88L40K and 75 mm (3 in) on model 88L75K.
Configuration Options
The series is supplied with an ergonomic handle, a protective leaf cover, and a coiled cord that measures 25 mm (1') retracted and stretches to over 1.5 m (5'). Standard electrical connections include the SMPW Miniature Connector with Mating Connector or TAS with Clip and Clamp.
Connector options are available as additional configurations:
- M8-S-M: Male straight M8 plug
- M12-S-M: Male straight M12 plug
- M8-R-M: Male right-angled M8 plug
- Male right-angled M12 plug (listed as option code in source text)
To order these connector options, the specific suffix is added to the model number for additional cost.
