Operating Conditions & Performance
The PHH-257 meter operates within specific performance envelopes defined by its sensor ranges and accuracy specifications:
- pH Measurement Range: 0 to 14 pH units with a resolution of 0.01 pH units.
- mV Measurement Range: ±200 mV, ±2000 mV (absolute), and Relative mV: ±FS (back-off) with resolutions of 0.1 or 1.0 mV.
- Temperature Measurement Range: -30 to 130°C (-22 to 266°F) with a resolution of 0.1°C.
Accuracy specifications are ±0.02 pH units for pH, ±0.05 % or 1 digit for mV, and ±0.3°C for temperature. The instrument features automatic buffer recognition compatible with buffers 4, 7, and 10, supporting both 1-point and 2-point calibration modes. Temperature compensation is available manually or automatically within the range of 0 to 100°C (32 to 212°F). Power is supplied by two included 9 V batteries.
