Supported Applications

The Omega OM-CP-PR2000 is a battery-powered pressure data logger with an LCD display, designed for applications requiring the monitoring and recording of pressure readings. The device features real-time operation and programmable start/stop times to capture process data over extended periods. Data can be downloaded via USB or serial interface to a PC for review or export to Excel.

Optional accessories include the OM-CP-SVP-SYSTEM, an FDA 21 CFR part 11 compliant IQ/OQ/PQ secure validation workbook and software package intended for regulatory compliance workflows.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series utilizes a semiconductor strain gage pressure sensor. Measurement ranges are available from 0 to 30 psia/g, 0 to 100 psia/g, 0 to 300 psia/g, and 0 to 500 psia/g; higher absolute-only options include 0 to 1000 psia and 0 to 5000 psia. Calibrated accuracy is specified as 2% FSR or 0.25% @ 25°C typical.

Resolution varies by range: 0.002, 0.005, 0.02, and 0.05 psia/g for the lower ranges. The pressure response time is 0.1 ms (10 to 90% FSR). Memory capacity holds up to 262,143 total readings with software-configurable memory wrap.

Operating environment limits are -20 to 54°C (-4 to 129°F) and 0 to 95% RH non-condensing. The device is powered by six alkaline "AA" batteries (included, user replaceable), with an optional AC adaptor available for continuous operation.

The OM-CP-PR2000 series is configurable across pressure ranges and unit types (absolute or gauge). The enclosure consists of a black anodized aluminum case with NPT steel components. A ¼ NPT process connection made from AISI 303 stainless steel serves as the wetted material.

The device features a large backlit DOT-MATRIX LCD measuring 63 x 35 mm (2.5 x 1.375") with configurable channel text size, power/status/memory indicators, and contrast adjustment. The backlight includes auto shut-off configuration to conserve battery life.
