Supported Applications
The Omega RD8800 Series is a paperless recorder and data acquisition system designed for monitoring analog process variables. The series supports thermocouple inputs (J, K, T, E, R, S, B, C, N), RTD sensors (10 Ω Cu, 100 Ω Pt 385, 100 Ω Pt 392, 200 Ω Pt 385, 200 Ω Pt 392, 120 Ω Ni 385), DC voltage signals with linear, square root, or logarithmic scaling, and DC current loops (0/4 to 20 mA, 10 to 50 mA). The system features a 142 mm (5.6") TFT color graphic display with touchscreen control for real-time data viewing, trend analysis, and alarm management.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The RD8800 Series operates within an ambient temperature range of -10 to 50°C (14 to 122°F) with a humidity rating of 10% to 80% RH non-condensing. The front panel carries an IP65 enclosure rating. Input resolution is specified as 0.0015% of full scale, 16-bit, with all points measured every 125 ms (scan rate). Channel isolation provides 300 Vdc or peak Vac between channels.
