Supported Applications
The Omega AR91 and AR92 Series are miniature pressure regulators designed for applications with limited space, low-flow service, or dead-end systems. These relieving regulators provide controlled outlet pressure even when the system is dead-ended. The series offers dependable reliability for non-critical flow applications where compact size and lightweight construction are required.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The AR91/AR92 Series operates with a maximum supply pressure of 250 psig (17.2 bar). Adjustable output ranges span from 0 to 5 psig (0 to 0.35 bar) up to 0 to 100 psig (0 to 7 bar), depending on the specific model selected. Performance characteristics include an effect of supply pressure variation (at 25 psig) on outlet pressure of less than 0.25 psig (17.02 mbar). The exhaust capacity is rated at 0.1 to 0.3 SCFM (2.8 to 8.5 LPM) typical, measured at 5 psig above a 20 psig setpoint.
Flow performance data indicates a flow capacity of 2.5 SCFM (71 LPM) with a 100 psig (6.9 bar) supply and 20 psig (1.4 bar) outlet, while total air consumption at maximum output is listed as 3 SCFH (84.6 LPM). The series provides excellent stability and repeatability.
Configuration Options
The series supports two primary process connection configurations to accommodate different piping standards:
- AR91 Series: 1/8-27 NPT thread connections.
- AR92 Series: 5 mm metric thread connections.
Construction materials are selected for corrosion resistance and durability. The body is constructed of anodized aluminum, with a fluorocarbon diaphragm reinforced with polyester fabric. Additional wetted components include brass and acetal trim, plated steel adjusting screws, music wire springs, and acetal resin knobs.
The regulators feature self-relieving operation; outlet pressure can be reduced even in dead-ended systems, and the unit will relieve to atmosphere if outlet pressure exceeds the regulator setting. A 10-32 UNF-2B port is available on the bottom of the regulator for installing an output gauge.

The AR91 and AR92 Series differ primarily by their process connection thread type, while sharing identical performance envelopes and material construction. Both series are offered in five adjustable pressure ranges:
- -005 Models: 0 to 5 psig (0 to 0.35 bar)
- -015 Models: 0 to 15 psig (0 to 1.0 bar)
- -030 Models: 0 to 30 psig (0 to 2.1 bar)
- -060 Models: 0 to 60 psig (0 to 4.1 bar)
- -100 Models: 0 to 100 psig (0 to 7 bar)
All models share the same physical dimensions of 22.2 x 22.2 x 84.6 mm (0.875 x 0.875 x 3.33") and a weight of 2.2 oz (0.06 kg). Mounting options include pipe or panel installation.
