Supported Applications

The Omega HHAQ-107 is a handheld instrument designed for making ballpark measurements of mixed-gas volatile organic compound (VOC) levels as part of an indoor air quality (IAQ) maintenance program. It utilizes a metal-oxide semiconductor sensor within a vented ball housing to detect ammonia, toluene, ethanol, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and cigarette smoke.

The device is intended for spot-checking concentrations of mixed-gas VOCs rather than precise single-gas measurements. In addition to total VOC concentration, the meter measures ambient temperature, relative humidity (RH), dew point, and wet bulb temperatures.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The HHAQ-107 operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) at 0 to 95% RH, non-condensing. The instrument features a large backlit dual-readout LCD with a 51 mm (2") diagonal display.

Performance specifications for the series include:
