Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series DCT1000 Dust Collector Timer Controller is designed for use with pulse-jet type dust collectors. It supports both on-demand and continuous cleaning applications, simplifying requirements by eliminating the need for external devices such as pressure switches, relays, and timers.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The controller operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 140°F (-40 to 60°C) with a storage temperature limit of -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C). It is powered by 85 to 270 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz. Timing performance includes an On Time range of 10 msec to 600 msec in 10 msec steps with ±10 msec accuracy. Off-Time ranges from 1 s to 255 s in 1 s steps with an accuracy of ±1% of the value or ±50 msec, whichever is greater.
When configured for on-demand cleaning using optional pressure modules (DCP100A/200A), differential pressure measurement ranges are available at 10" w.c. or 20" w.c., with a burst and pressure rating of 10 psi (68.95 kPa). The accuracy for these measurements is ±1.5% F.S. @ 73°F (22.8°C).
Configuration Options
The modular design allows the Series DCT1000 to function as a continuous cleaning control or an on-demand cleaning control using optional plug-in pressure modules. The controller maintains a consistent physical footprint across channel configurations, with overall dimensions of 8-1/4 [209.55] inches width, 6-1/4 [158.75] inches height, and 2-3/4 [69.85] inches depth.
Key configurable capabilities include:
- Output Channels: Available in 6, 10, or 22 channels on the main board; expandable to 255 channels using DCT1122 and DCT1110 channel expander boards.
- Solenoid Supply: Supports a maximum of 3A per channel. The unit includes a 3 A @ 250 VAC fuse, with low voltage control circuitry isolated from line voltage for system safety.
- Housing Options: Configurable options include -WP (Weatherproof housing only), -WPP (Weatherproof housing w/ pressure ports), and -EXPL (Explosion-proof housing).
- Pressure Modules: Optional DCP100A for 10 in w.c. or DCP200A for 20 in w.c.

Housing variations modify the enclosure style: standard units may be ordered with a weatherproof housing (-WP), or a weatherproof housing with pressure ports (-WPP). The -WPPS option adds a three position rotary switch to the weatherproof housing with pressure ports. An explosion-proof housing is available via the -EXPL code.
Additional options include aluminum tags (-AT) and stainless steel tags (-ST), as well as certificates of conformance (-COC) or US origin (-COO). When a DCP100A or DCP200A pressure module is installed in the master controller, switching functions are ignored.
