Supported Applications
The Omega FL2700A, 6700, 7700, and 8700 Series are pneumatic in-line variable area flowmeters designed to monitor air flow rates. These rugged direct-reading instruments determine optimum performance, flow regulator settings, or pneumatic system performance. The series is intended for use in mobile or industrial pneumatic systems as well as air power-operated hand tool systems.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The FL Series provides measurement ranges from 5 to 1000 SCFM of air, calibrated at 100 psig and 70°F. The series delivers ±2% FS Accuracy with ±1% Repeatability. Maximum operating temperature is rated to 116°C (240°F), and the pressure rating supports up to 69 bar (1000 psig). While calibrated for air, a note indicates calibration capability with 140 SUS (32 cSt) hydraulic oil.
Configuration Options
The series is available in three port sizes corresponding to specific flow ranges and physical dimensions. Models feature FNPT process connections and are constructed from anodized aluminum bodies with dichromate sealed anodized aluminum cones and pistons. Wetted materials include a 302 SS spring and polyphenylene sulfide/ceramic magnet.

- ½" FNPT: Models FL6760A (5 to 50 SCFM), FL6711A (10 to 100 SCFM), and FL6715A (15 to 150 SCFM). Dimensions are 60.96 x 53.34 mm (2.4 x 2.1 in) with a length of 167.64 mm (6.6 in).
- ¾" FNPT: Models FL7750A (5 to 50 SCFM) and FL7722A (25 to 250 SCFM). Dimensions are 73.66 x 63.5 mm (2.9 x 2.5 in) with a length of 182.88 mm (7.2 in).
- 1¼" FNPT: Models FL8745A (40 to 400 SCFM), FL8760A (60 to 600 SCFM), FL8780A (80 to 800 SCFM), and FL8710A (100 to 1000 SCFM). Dimensions are 119.38 x 104.14 mm (4.7 x 4.1 in) with a length of 309.88 mm (12.2 in).
