The Dwyer Series TID is a temperature and process indicator designed for monitoring applications in refrigerators, walk-in coolers, and general panel process indication. The series accepts inputs from PTC or NTC thermistors to measure temperature or utilizes 4-20 mA signals from transmitters to display generic process values.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The Series TID provides a measurement range of -58 to 302°F when configured with thermistor inputs. For models utilizing the 4-20 mA input, the display covers -999 to 999 counts. The unit features an accuracy greater than 1% and offers resolution options of 1° or 0.1 count depending on the configuration. The front panel carries an IP64 (NEMA 3R) rating.

Configuration Options

The series supports multiple input types, display colors, units, and power supply configurations to accommodate specific installation needs:

• Input Types: PTC thermistor, NTC thermistor, or 4-20 mA.
• Display Options: Red (code 0), Green (code 1), or Blue (code 2) LED displays with a 3-digit format.
• Units of Measure: Degrees Fahrenheit (°F), degrees Celsius (°C), or None for generic process counts.
• Power Supply: Available in 115 VAC, 230 VAC, and 24 VAC/DC variants.

The device includes an adjustable span and zero on the 4-20 mA models. Output signals of 5/12 VDC are available depending on the model selection. The unit weighs 2.3 oz (65 g) with overall dimensions of 3 in [76.2] width, 1-11/32 in [34.13] height, and a depth of 2-3/8 in [60.38].

• TID-1110, TID-1410: PTC thermistor inputs configured for °F display.
• TID-1120, TID-1420: PTC or NTC thermistor inputs (based on variant list) with power options including 115 VAC and 24 VAC/DC; units include °C configurations in the broader series envelope.
• TID-3100, TID-3200, TID-3400: Models designed for 4-20 mA inputs with no specific temperature unit (None), available across 115 VAC, 230 VAC, and 24 VAC/DC power supplies.

The series supports Digital Temperature Switch Probes and Accessories from the Series TS-Probes line. Installation requires a panel cutout of 2.80 x 1.14 in (71 x 29 mm) with silicone or rubber gasket application to prevent leakage.
