Supported Applications
The Omega NORGREN EXCELOn® Lockout Valves (T72T Series) are designed for in-line or modular installation to help conform to OSHA lockout regulations in the USA market. These valves function as safety devices that can be locked in the closed position only, utilizing a padlock-compatible slide mechanism.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series is rated for compressed air service with a maximum pressure of 17 bar (250 psig). The operating temperature range is -34 to 65°C (-30 to 150°F), with the requirement that air supply must be dry enough to avoid ice formation at temperatures below 2°C (35°F).
Flow performance varies by port size and direction:
- CV Factor from IN to OUT Ports: 4.0 for ¼" ports; 8.0 for ⅜" ports; 8.1 for ½" ports; 7.7 for ¾" ports.
- CV Factor from OUT to Exhaust Ports (3-Port/2-Position Valves): 0.2.
Configuration Options
The series supports multiple configurations across T72T, T73T, and T74T models with varying port sizes and exhaust thread types. Key configurable dimensions include:

- Elastomers: Nitrile.
