Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series GFC Gas Mass Flow Controllers combine a straight tube sensor with a restrictor flow element to measure and control gas mass flow. The series is designed for clean gases compatible with the specified wetted parts.

Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series GFC operates within a process temperature range of 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C). Accuracy is specified as ±1% FS including linearity over 59 to 77°F (5 to 25°C) and 5 to 60 psia (0.34 to 4 bar); for Series GFC X143, X144, and X145 models, accuracy is ±1.5% FS.

The standard pressure rating is 1000 psig (68.9 bar). For Series GFC-X143, X144, and X145 models, the pressure rating is 500 psig (34.5 bar).
Configuration Options
The series offers a broad selection of flow ranges paired with specific process connection sizes to match system requirements.
- Flow Ranges: Available from 0 to 10 mL/m through 0 to 1000 L/min, including intermediate steps such as 2 L/min, 5 L/min, 15 L/min, 30 L/min, 50 L/min, 100 L/min, and 200 L/min.
- Process Connections:
- 1/4" compression fitting for flow rates ≤50 L/m
- 3/8" for 100 and 200 L/m ranges
- 1/2" for the 500 L/min range
- 3/4" for the 1000 L/min range
- Housing Materials: Aluminum or 316 SS construction.

Key Product Differences
The Series GFC is distinguished by two primary material families and specific model numbering conventions:
- GFC-1XXX Models: Feature anodized aluminum housings with wetted parts including brass, 316 SS, and fluoroelastomer O-rings.
- GFC-2XXX Models: Constructed entirely of 316 SS for the housing and wetted path (excluding fluoroelastomer O-rings).
The series includes specific model families designated as X143, X144, and X145. These models differ from standard configurations by having a pressure rating of 500 psig (34.5 bar) instead of the standard 1000 psig (68.9 bar), and an accuracy specification of ±1.5% FS.
Model numbers follow the format GFC-, such as GFC-1101, GFC-2101, GFC-1143, or GFC-2143.
