Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series 607 is a differential pressure transmitter designed to convert positive, negative (vacuum), or differential pressures of clean, dry air and other non-conductive, non-corrosive gases into a standard two-wire output signal. The series employs an ultra-thin glass-clad silicon diaphragm design intended for precision measurement and control in low-pressure applications.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series 607 operates within an ambient temperature range of -20 to 160°F (-29 to 71°C) with a compensated temperature range of 35 to 135°F (2 to 57°C). Humidity limits are specified as 10-95% RH, non-condensing. The transmitter features a response time of 250 ms max and maintains stability within ±0.5% FS/yr.
Accuracy is available in two classes: standard models offer ±0.5% Full Scale (FS) accuracy, while specific high-accuracy variants provide ±0.25% FS. The pressure rating for the device is 10 psig (0.69 bar). Thermal effects are rated at ±0.015% FS/°F for zero and span.
Measurement Ranges
The series supports a wide envelope of differential pressure ranges, including:- Low Range: 0 to 0.1 in. w.c., 0 to 0.25 in. w.c., and 0 to 0.50 in. w.c.
- Moderate Range: 0 to 1.0, 0 to 2.0, 0 to 5.0, and 0 to 10 in. w.c.
- High Range: Up to 0-25 in. w.c.
- Bipolar (Vacuum/Positive): Ranges such as 0 to ±0.1, 0 to ±0.25, and up to 0 to ±5.0 in. w.c., depending on the model code suffix.
Configuration Options
The Series 607 is configured as a two-wire transmitter with a standard output signal of 4-20 mA DC, powered by an unregulated supply between 12 and 36 VDC. The maximum loop resistance is specified at 0 to 1045 Ω.Housing & Connections
The unit features a 300 Series stainless steel housing rated NEMA 2 (IP11) for protection against moisture and dirt. Process connections utilize barbed stainless steel fittings designed for 3/16" ID tubing. Electrical connection is made via screw terminals labeled + and -.Adjustments & Options
The transmitter includes externally accessible, non-interactive potentiometers allowing ±10% FS adjustment of zero and span. Optional accessories include:- A-302F-A: 303 SS static pressure tip with mounting flange for 3/16" ID rubber or plastic tubing (4" insertion depth).
- NISTCAL-PT1: NIST traceable calibration certificate.
Key Product Differences
Model numbers follow the format 607-<MODEL CODE>. The series distinguishes between standard accuracy and high-accuracy models, as well as unidirectional (positive) and bidirectional (differential/vacuum) ranges:- Standard Accuracy Models: Base model codes such as 607-0 through 607-9 generally provide ±0.5% FS accuracy.
- High-Accuracy Models: Variants with the "1" suffix (e.g., 607-01, 607-11) are specified for ±0.25% FS accuracy.
- Bipolar Range Models: Variants ending in "B" (e.g., 607-0B, 607-1B) cover ranges centered on zero to accommodate both positive and negative pressures (vacuum).
