Supported Applications

The Omega TL Series Non-Reversible Temperature Labels provide visual temperature indication via an irreversible color change where the indicator dot turns black at a rated temperature. Designed for low-cost, single-temperature operation in limited spaces, these labels are available in round or linear configurations to monitor thermal events.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series covers measurement ranges from 38°C (100°F) to 260°C (500°F). Specific range envelopes by configuration include:

• TL-C series: 105°F to 500°F.
• TL-T series: 41°C (105°F) to 254°C (490°F).
• TL-F series: 41°C (105°F) to 260°C (500°F).

Accuracy varies by temperature range:

• Up to 99°C (210°F): ±1°C (1.8°F).
• From 100°C (212°F) to 154°C (309°F): ±1.5°C (2.7°F).
• From 160°C (320°F) to 260°C (536°F): ±1% and ±1°C (1.8°F).

• TL-S: Single dot round labels (°C/°F).
• TL-C: 4-dot round labels (°F only).
• TL-T: 3-dot linear labels (°C/°F).
• TL-F: 5-dot linear labels (°C/°F).

• TL-S: 9.52 mm (⅜") diameter.
• TL-C: 15 mm (0.6") diameter.
• TL-T: 26 mm (1") height, 19 mm (0.75") width.

Packaging Options

Labels are supplied in various package quantities with specific ordering suffixes:

• TL-S: Packages of 30 or 50 (add '-50' for packages of 50).
• TL-C: Packages of 10 or 30 (add '-30' for packages of 30).
• TL-T: Packages of 20 or 40 (add '-40' for packages of 40).
• TL-F: Packages of 10 or 30 (add '-30' for packages of 30).

Key Product Differences

The series distinguishes between round and linear form factors, as well as the number of temperature points per label. The TL-C family is restricted to Fahrenheit scales only, while TL-S, TL-T, and TL-F families support both Celsius and Fahrenheit ratings. Model numbers follow specific patterns: TL-S-, TL-C--30, TL-T--40, or TL-F--30.
